Soar...final flight.
Eternal night.
We are nervous,
But still alright.
I walked onwards into the mountain side
To ponder stories of ill-fated men.
I lost myself off in the distance after sunset
And wandered into the lion's den.
He had kept a place for me;
He had been expecting me to come.
I waited for my death, sitting paralyzed and feeling numb.
To my surprise, he was also afraid; just waiting for someone to say
"You are my brother and I protect you today."
Running free
Back home
Ever-westward
I will find the lost relics of my sacred oath.
Imperative
Can't fail
I must bear the weight of burden alone.
Lengths of flesh on my arms tearing at the seams
And becoming weak, disease of the empty Earth.
My mind is slowly eroding into a fragment of what its potential
Should have been.
Philosophical ranting and psychic branding have their place in the
Heart of the modern world.
